While many consider Limbaugh to be the most influential member of the Republican Party, we at DDJ consider him to be the one of the most doucheful member of the human race at this moment in time. After publically announcing his desire for the president (and therefore the entire country) to fail, he has followed up his juvenile behavior with some good old-fashioned religious rhetoric. While ‘discussing’ the idea of bipartisanship, Limbaugh misquoted the great John Adams and then went on to ask: “Should Jesus have made a deal with Satan?”
Limbaugh is probably the last person any educated or rational person would recommend to act as mediator or catalyst in bringing political groups together in any form of debate and it is not his responsibility to try to do so. All we ask for is an attempt on his part to realize that times are bad and they have been bad for quite a while and for everyone. He has the ear of a large section of national idiots, idiots who are struggling as much as any of us and in need of hope and guidance. To put it bluntly, Rush, you are not helping – get off the radio and have some more lard.
