Notre Dame has recently invited President Barack Obama to give the commencement address at their University on May 17. Many Catholics are outraged because, "The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions." I am not quite sure how our President fits into this description.
Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, jumped on the bandwagon by tweeting, "It is sad to see notre dame invite president obama to give the commencement address since his policies are so anti catholic values." So Newt is calling Obama Anti-Catholic? I guess it takes one to know one. Newt has been divorced twice. The first one was Jackie. He actually divorced her as she was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery. Nice. Then he married Marriane after Jackie and then he started an affair with Callista while still married to Marriane. Sounds like Newt should have a guest appearance on the Hills.
What it comes down to is that people should practice what they preach or just keep their mouth's shut. It is typical of the GOP to promote their holier than thou attitude while quietly molesting little boys behind close doors. Here's the final kicker, Newt is not even Catholic, he is a Baptist.
