The GOP have tried everything. They have called Barack Obama a terrorist, a socialist, a muslim, and anti-American. I have to say that this one takes the cake. Richard Shelby, the Republican Senator from Alabama, said he had doubts whether or not Obama was an actual citizen of the United States thus making his presidency Invalid.
The Cullman Times reported, “Well his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven’t seen any birth certificate,” Shelby said. “You have to be born in America to be president.”
Really? Is that what we have come to? Rest assure that this issue came up during the campaign last year and Obama’s birth certificate was verified – Born in Hawaii on Aug. 13, 1961. Sorry Mr. Shelby, try again.
