Madonna's latest attempt to boost record sales and notoriety by adopting a Malawaian orphan appears to have fallen short - and rightly so for legal reasons. Finally, someone has taken a stand against the mentally imbalanced mouthpiece and said enough is enough. Now before anyone thinks that I'm being highly insensitive to the fact that it is a terrible tragedy to see an innocent little girl being deprived of a better life in Madonna's family, I have only one thing to say. Wake up morons. I'm sure that if any of these poor unfortunate children could see what lay ahead as a member of Madonna's family, they would run for the hills and relish their next bowl of sand and water.
I will admit that one of the first ever albums i listened to was "Like A Virgin" and I did enjoy some of Madonna's music before my brain started working and credit must be given where it is due. Her older material was somewhat ground-breaking and impressive. However, like too many ageing rock bands of today, this is one "music" career which hopefully will end soon. Gay men need to wake up and find some new rubbish to listen to - there is still plenty of monotonous dance tripe being produced in emerging European nations with diarrhoea-like fluidity. And yes – I am in touch with my feminine side so don’t get me started!
The next time someone wants to buy a child to own as a fashion accessory (and slave of sorts) or to promote their next world tour, perhaps criminal charges may be used to deter such a selfish act. I for one would volunteer to adopt Madonna's children if she were forced to live out the remainder of her over-indulgent life behind bars. I could definitely think of a few ways to spend the child-support (space exploration perhaps?).
